Doubled success: Conference awards for Dániel Gardenö
Dániel Gardenö from the group of Karel Friess at UCT Prague spent 12 months in our group as a visiting PhD student. During that time he developed 2D Carbon membranes for gas separation and ultrafiltration. His results got international attention, and he recently received conference awards at the NAMS 2025 in Nashville (USA) and M3S in Torun (Poland). His contributions were co-authored by Johannes Wieczorek, Tanja Weber, Malte Kaspereit, and Karel Friess.
